The Multi-Functional Hall for Cummins in Pune is conceived as a space defined by excellent acoustics and optimum visual connect that forms a stage for several user- specific utility. Discussions, presentations, employee communication, dealers meetings and lectures are a few of the activities slated to be conducted in the hall.
The design parameters included a striking configuration for the ceiling, a stage section to ensure optimum catchment area, sight lines, stage panels and the standards of exit requirements. A warm material palette of veneered wood layered out towards the seating area from the stage is both inclusive and remarkable. The hall is flanked by pre- function space along its two longer sides while the shorter dimension connects the porch or vehicle drop-off to the hall, serving as an entrance lobby.
